About Us – In Our Own Words.
Kyosei Consulting International, Inc. was federally incorporated in Canada in 2001, and is headquartered in beautiful (albeit somewhat rainy) Vancouver, British Columbia.
From the beginning, we’ve provided a range of professional consulting and coaching services — building on Founder, Andrea Jacques’ 25 years of experience and unique vision. In 2002, Boyan Blocka, an experienced copywriter, web programmer, systems consultant and serial entrepreneur joined our ranks — and in one fell swoop – doubled our official full-time staff count to two.
Four years and umpteen clients later, and spurred on by a mutual love of creating a new vision of life and work; partners in business, became partners in life – marrying in 2006. Since then, Kyosei has continued to refine it’s models and services, working with clients large and small, building an impressive (if we do say so ourselves) client roster and skill-set.
Now serving Coaching clients from KyoseiCoaching.com and Consulting clients from KyoseiConsulting.com, Kyosei Consulting International, Inc. is dedicated to providing you the very best in coaching and consulting services.
Kyosei Defined
kyo (kyō) – sei (say)
The most literal interpretation of the word ‘Kyosei’ is cooperative living or symbiosis. However, the twentieth century saw the word applied to the business environment, most notably by Ryuzaburo Kaku, Chairman of Canon Inc. – to convey the idea that long-term business success is predicated upon a respect for the interconnectedness any business has with people, communities and the environment.
To that end, we embrace Mr. Kaku’s definition of Kyosei – “living and working together for the common good” – as our own, and explore new ways to enhance it’s realization through our work and the betterment of our clients.

Our Purpose: Transforming Life & Work for the better.
In the West many of us came to believe that more is better. This is what they taught us in schools. This is what was deified by our media and ordained by our celebrity royalty. More money. More time. More food. More vice. But if the state of the world is any indicator, and civil unrest, plummeting quality of life, moribund economies and terrified business leaders and politicians doesn’t further underline — the reality is … more is not better — better is better.
We want to transform individuals and organizations for the better, so that ’living and working together for the common good’ is second nature, the first choice – and never a distant ideal.
Our Mission: Your Potential – Realized.
Our purpose is why we do what we do. Our mission is how we deliver on that purpose.
Kyosei Coaching’s mission is to transform the way people live and work by helping people and organizations to actualize their potential. Employing proprietary models, systems and products, we work to engage the spirit of entrepreneurship within each individual. We do this because true entrepreneurship is not just about business – it’s about the power to create with accountability. So whether you’re an individual, an entrepreneur, or an employee, if we can pinpoint your passion for effecting lasting, positive change – we can turn that desire into powerful results for you, your team, business and ultimately, the world.
Our Vision: The Common Good is Commonplace
Can you imagine a world where the common good is commonplace? We can. A world where:
- Everyone is mindful of their choices. Where people and businesses fully understand how to live and work in harmony with each other and their environment, applying this knowledge to all they do.
- Selling your soul to the company is unheard of, but giving your all for a passionate purpose (even in employment) is common.
- Businesses wouldn’t dream of overworking and underpaying their people, and instead foster success in their teams and enjoy new customers as a by product.
- Employees strive to give the best they can, as fully engaged as the founders themselves.
